Juan Olivarez, Ph.D., is Aquinas College’s seventh president in 125 years. Dr. Olivarez, a 1971 graduate of Aquinas, says that he is “thrilled to come back home to lead Aquinas College into the next phase. I graduated from here, I met my wife here and we've stayed connected over the years, so I have a strong affinity for Aquinas. As I've said before, Aquinas changed my life." For the past three years Dr. Olivarez had served as president and CEO of the Kalamazoo Community Foundation. Dr. Olivarez served for nine years as the president of Grand Rapids Community College. He was pulled by the opportunity to re-engage with his alma mater and higher education, a profession in which he has spent the majority of his career. Dr. Olivarez served on the Circle Theatre Board of Directors from 1987 - 1990.

This special evening will begin at 6:30PM and will include strolling hors' dourves, an open bar featuring signature cocktails, remarks from Dr. Olivarez, and Lynne Brown-Tepper, Circle Theatre's Managing Director; a silent and live auction featuring 'Ultimate Experience' items, the opportunity to mingle with Aquinas College's new President, live music and dancing, as well as musical performance selections from Circle Theatre's upcoming 60th Anniversary Season.

Tickets are $60 per person, or $100 for two. 
Limited space is available, and reservations are required.
