SAN DIEGO INTERNET MATRIX, INC. COMPLETES UNIQUE BEAUTIFICATION PROGRAM HONORING HIGH TECH LEADERS
WHAT: iMatrix computer graphic artists will be stepping away from their 21st century Macs and PCs to pick up those ancient tools -- paint brush and pigment-- to paint iconic images outside their work habitat like early Homo Sapiens did when they painted on rocks and caves eons of years ago.
The images they are painting are the faces of high-tech and IT
innovators like Apple’s Steve Jobs, Qualcomm’s Irwin Jacobs,
Microsoft’s Bill Gates, the man considered as the “father” of the
computer, mathematician and engineer Charles Babbage, and the
inventor of the World Wide Web Sir Timothy John Berners-Lee.
iMatrix client experience and sales staff have already painted each of
the13 electric boxes around their Sorrento Mesa office with a blue base
coat. Next the marketing company’s staff will paint each box with the face
of one of 13 Internet and Technology leaders and in addition to portraying
the likeness, each electrical box will include a QR Code and Google
Places icon so anyone who passes by the box can use a “smart” mobile
device to be instantly connected to the webpage that provides information
on the box's featured innovator.
WHERE: Outside of the iMatrix office located at 10179 Huennekens Street | San Diego, CA 92121
WHEN: Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
WHY: iMatrix Co- Founders Asaf and Yamia Benhaim support the iMonument Program to honor and commemorate high tech innovators, beautify the man-made environment, and educate the public about each person’s contribution to this vital and evolving industry. Located in the busy Sorrento Mesa area, the images on the boxes will be seen by thousands of people who walk or drive by their office.
VISUALS:
• Availability for interviews with iMatrix founders Asaf Benhaim and Yamia Benhaim, Theresa Wear Director of Project, Director of Client Experience Ryan Perterson and Director of Engineering David Barber regarding conception of project and selection of industry leaders.
